Nursery / Vivero
We have infrastructure to build a nursery and cultivate many varities of plants, for our own consumption, study and sale to the town and travelers at the lake. Medicinal plants are worth a good amount of money, and rare varieties even more. We already have many high-yield fruit trees and plants here that we can clone, in addition to continuing to grow the collection over time.
Propagation
Everything grows so fast here, and we have an abundance of water. Growing most things is easy, and we intend to propagate all the most producing varieties to plant, gift, and trade. This will also be available for service in the planning of the private homestead’s landscaping plant needs.
Permaculture Design
We are inspired by the principles of ‘permaculture’ and in general the idea of symbiotic living with nature, and co-creating spaces of synergy and purpose.
We want to continue planting more fruit and nut trees, intend to continue cultivating many of the native plant species and fruit varieties as many quality, nutritious, delicious food-bearing plants.
Forest Garden Walk
The layout of the food forest will include an educational forest walk through different sections, to be labeled with signs holding treasured information about the pristine and immaculate essense of the deep soul of the rainforest here. There is so much beauty to be appreciated, and when the forest garden is cohesive, with a lovely walking trail, it will make for a good educational opportunity and simply a gorgeous walk to take, with a few benches and seating areas.
